Refund Policy
Effective May 12, 2026. This Refund Policy explains how MENTOR handles refund requests for purchased credits.
Refund principle
MENTOR sells credits that can be used for service features such as code tour generation and follow-up Q&A. If you request a refund, MENTOR refunds the remaining unused paid credits by converting them back to the amount actually paid for those credits.
Used credits are not refundable because they have already been consumed for service processing. Free, promotional, trial, bonus, or restored credits are not treated as paid refundable credits unless MENTOR separately states otherwise.
How the refund amount is calculated
For each purchase, MENTOR calculates the paid unit price by dividing the actual paid amount by the number of paid credits included in that purchase. The refundable amount is the remaining unused paid credits from that purchase multiplied by that paid unit price.
Discounts are reflected in the actual paid amount. For example, if a discounted credit pack was purchased, the refund is calculated from the discounted payment amount, not from the original list price.
When multiple credit purchases exist, MENTOR may match remaining paid credits to the relevant purchase records using service records such as purchase time, credit transaction history, and remaining balance.
How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact MENTOR at contact@ai-code-mentor.com with the email address used for your MENTOR account, the purchase you want refunded, and any payment information reasonably needed to identify the transaction.
MENTOR may ask for additional information if needed to verify account ownership, identify the payment, prevent abuse, or comply with payment-provider and legal requirements.
Approved refunds are generally returned through the original payment method or the method supported by the payment provider. Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider, card issuer, bank, and applicable settlement rules.
Non-refundable cases
MENTOR may deny or limit a refund if the credits have already been used, the request concerns only free or promotional credits, the transaction cannot be verified, the account was used in violation of the Terms of Service, or a refund would be prohibited by law or payment-provider rules.
If a technical failure prevents a paid service operation after credits are reserved, MENTOR may restore the reserved credits instead of processing a cash refund for that failed operation.
Changes and contact
MENTOR may update this Refund Policy as products, payment methods, credit packages, or legal requirements change. Material changes may be announced through the website or other reasonable service notices.
