Download

Get the latest MENTOR VS Code extension package and install it locally in VS Code.

Install in VS Code

01 Download

Download the VSIX file

Click Download Latest VSIX on this page. Once the browser finishes, keep the file somewhere easy to find, such as your Downloads folder.

02 Extensions

Open Extensions and More Actions (...)

In VS Code, click the Extensions icon in the left Activity Bar. Then, at the top of the Extensions view, click the More Actions button with the three dots.

03 Select File

Choose Install from VSIX... and select the downloaded file

In the menu you just opened, click Install from VSIX.... When the file picker opens, select the downloaded MENTOR .vsix file.

04 Reload

Run Developer: Reload Window

After installation, open the VS Code Command Palette with Ctrl+Shift+P, type > Developer: Reload Window, and press Enter to finish loading MENTOR. On macOS, use Cmd+Shift+P.

05 Open MENTOR

Open MENTOR from the Activity Bar

After the window reloads, look at the left Activity Bar again and click the MENTOR icon to open the extension.
